Great Mills Students and parents have been reuniting in Leonardtown, Md this morning after today's shooting. Students say they were relieved with the sight of police arriving on the scene immediately after shots rung out. A School Resource Officer exchanged shots with the shooter after witnessing him shooting a female student at Great Mills High in a hallway. The shooter has died.

The Baltimore Sun is reporting 3 victims have been taken to Medstar St. Mary's Hospital and 2 of them are students.
A shooting this morning at #GreatMillsHighSchool in St. Mary's County. Because of it's distance from media outlets, it has taken time for media and authorities reaching the scene. Police have been on the scene since shortly after 8 am this morning.
Police are asking for parents to remain calm and meet students from Great Mills H.S. at Leonardtown High School in the auditorium. Great Mills is on complete lockdown with police presence.
Here's what is being reported.
-This morning's shooting is "contained" at this time and 3 students have been transported to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment. No report of severity of injuries at this time.
-ATF and Md State Police and Sheriff deputies are handling.
