Fox Is Developing A Country Music Drama

With Fox network wrapping up their successful Hip-Hop drama series "Empire," they are not planning on stopping with the music drama genre. Fox is developing a one-hour drama series set in the world of country music. The untitled project is described as a multi-generational musical drama about America’s first family of country music. The plot is about The Romans and how they divide their time between Austin, where their home is, and Nashville, where the business takes place. But while on the surface they are true country music, the very foundation of this family’s success is a lie. This sounds like some good ole drama to me! One of the executive producers of the country music project is Jason Owen. He is the president and CEO of Sandbox Entertainment, representing country music stars such as Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves, Dan+Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, Midland, and the John R. Cash Revocable Trust among others.  So the guy knows his country music! For the full story and to find out who else will be apart of the show, click the link:
