If you haven't heard about Ken Burn's documentary "Country Music," it's all the buzz right now amongst country fans and celebrities alike. And it looks to be a hit for music sales as well, with various songs from the eight-part series’ 100-plus-song soundtrack seeing notable gains in digital downloads. Since the Sept. 15 premiere, songs from Johnny Cash, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Patsy Cline, Vince Gill and more have jumped in sales both in the week the series premiered and the current week, during which the show’s final four episodes aired. I love to hear this news! I feel that with this documentary, it's opening up this great music to the younger audience who may have not been familiar with some of these great artist's songs.
