Man! Restaurant chains are going all out lately! First, Pizza Hut and Cheez-Its have joined forces to create Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza. The new item which is available at Pizza Huts throughout the US features four baked jumbo squares topped with that distinctly sharp, real cheese taste. Each crispy square is stuffed with either cheese or pepperoni and cheese and served up with a side of marinara dipping sauce. And if that's not wild enough, KFC is testing fried chicken and donuts! KFC has both the Kentucky Fried Chicken & Donuts Sandwich (a chicken fillet between two glazed doughnuts for $5.99) and the Kentucky Fried Chicken & Donut Basket meal, with choice of chicken on the bone and a doughnut for $5.49 or $7.49 for a big basket. As of right now, the tests are currently being done at restaurants in Norfolk and Richmond, Virginia, and Pittsburgh. (But you know they will probably be nationwide soon.) What's next?! Will Taco Bell start serving breakfast?! (just kidding-they already do). I'm not gonna lie, I want to try the Pizza Hut/Cheez It combo. Not too sure on the KFC/Donut deal though. Anyway you look at it, there's an extreme food theme going on with restaurants! Here's a vid about KFC's latest creation.
