So imagine finding one of these in Myrtle Beach! Thankfully we don't have them here, but recently beaches in Maine are having a high number of the world's largest jellyfish (The Lion's Mane Jellyfish) spotted in the waters and on the beach. It can grow to five or more feet across, with tentacles more than 100-feet long! You don't want to get stung by one of these babies! Researchers say the increased number of the jellyfish this year could be due to the quickly warming ocean waters. Wait, we have pretty warm waters here in the Carolinas...Hopefully they don't come down south! Here's a video of the Lion's Mane jellyfish, to give you an idea of the size of these monsters!
