What To Do If You Have A Power Outage Due To Dorian

Dorian has made it's way to The Carolinas, and we have extensive coverage on Eagle throughout the day on the latest. The coast is really getting hit hard from this storm. The Pee Dee area seems to be getting rain and wind gusts, but no where near what the Grand Strand is feeling. With a storm of this magnitude, there will be power outages across The Carolinas. Experts are predicting around 700,000 people maybe without power in both North and South Carolina when it's all said and done. So what do you do if you lose power? Contact your power company and let them know immediately. That way they will be able to assess the areas hit hardest, and they will be ready to go into action (when the conditions are safe for their workers). Here's a link to a list of all the different power/energy companies to report the outage with:

Please be safe during the storm and know that we will have the latest on Dorian throughout the day.
