Uber will let women riders in US match with women drivers

Uber is launching Women Preference settings in the United States, giving female riders and drivers more choice, confidence, and flexibility whenever they use the app.

The feature will allow female riders to request trips with female drivers and vice versa, starting in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Detroit before expanding to more cities. This setting aims to make Uber more accessible and safer, especially for late-night trips, providing peace of mind for female users. The Women Preference feature has been successful in other countries and will now be available in the U.S., offering more options and control for women using the platform.

Uber has also implemented additional safety measures for female drivers and riders, emphasizing the importance of creating a better experience for everyone.
