WATCH: Hilarious SEC Short About USC/UGA Game

Yup, it happened....sorry not sorry Georgia. WE. WON. The Carolina Gamecocks defeated number 3 Georgia in double overtime (20-17).

My husband and his best friend spent the afternoon screaming at the TV trying not to lose their mind....thinking it was all over...then that overtime came. Thank you for that overtime lord!

Playoffs, were met by a South Carolina team that came to play. The defense was able to stop the run upfront, even with a UGA offensive line that might be one of the biggest in school history. This forced their quarterback to rely on the passing game, but with a mix of man and zone coverage, the SC secondary was able to break up needed passes and intercept the ball 3 times on defense, thanks to Israel Mukuamu, one of which was ran back for a touchdown. While the Offense was able to get out front with a 46 yard TD pass from Hilinski to Bryan Edwards, Hilinski was unfortunately taken out of the game due to a high knee sprain caused by accidental hit from a UGA defensive player. SC then saw Joyner come into the game where he was able to manage the offense and take time off of the clock while the defense stepped up and made sure that UGA couldn't run away with the game. After two FG misses by SC's kicker, Parker White, the game ended up in it's 2nd overtime, where Parker was able to take the team up to 20-17. Thanks to a stop by the SC defense, UGA brought out their kicker, who has been known to be one of the best in College Football, but he wasn't good enough on this play and ended up missing the game tying FG securing unranked SC's upset of #3 UGA

Here's what went down:

Georgia was ranked #3 in the nation and an almost shoe-in for the College Football Playoffs. They were met by a South Carolina team that came to seriously play, y'all! After two FG misses by SC's kicker, Parker White, the game ended up in it's 2nd overtime....which was a blessing for us. This is where Parker was able to take the team up to 20-17. Thanks to a stop by the SC defense, UGA brought out their kicker, who has been known to be one of the best in College Football, but he wasn't good enough on this play and ended up missing the game tying FG securing unranked SC's upset of #3 UGA.

I found a hilarious video my husband had shared on FB of basically how Georgia is feeling right now. Again, sorry, not sorry.
