After a week and half long re-trial, and after several hours of deliberation, a jury declared that Sidney Moorer was found guilty of kidnapping Heather Elvis, in December 2013.
On the charge of conspiracy to kidnap, he was found guilty.
Sidney Moorer was sentenced to 30 years in prison on the kidnapping charge; 30 on the conspiracy charge.
