Justin Bieber Teases Surprise Project To Arrive In 2020

British Summer Time - Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber is getting ready to release something big next year.

The singer took to Twitter with a clip teasing a new project planned for the year 2020. Last night (December 11), Bieber unveiled a seconds-long clip showing the year in front of a black, starry background with no caption or audio, only adding to the mystery of the surprise.

It’s likely the graphic is the official sign of a new era for Bieber, who hasn’t released a studio album since 2015’s Purpose, which produced hits like “Sorry,” “What Do You Mean?” and others. Most recently, he’s collaborated with stars like Dan + Shay, Billie Eilish, and Ed Sheeran all in this year alone.

The teaser comes more than a month after the pop star hinted at possibly releasing a new project before the year was over. You can recall, Bieber previously issued an Instagram challenge to Beliebers in October, tempting Beliebers with the promise of his next record.

"If this gets 20 million likes Justin Bieber will release an album before Christmas," he shared at the time, then added in the comments section: ”Share it, like it, post in your story, I gotta see the demand ;) love you guys pumped for it! I’m almost done but your support will make me move faster."

Sadly, it appears the post has since been removed, which means we may have to wait at least another three weeks before Bieber drops something new.
