Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande may have found love unconventionally fast, but their love is the real deal. The Saturday Night Live star spoke about his whirlwind romance with the "no tears left to cry" singer on a radio show over the weekend, and we have to admit — they're sounding a lot like soulmates.

During the interview, Pete discussed how the two, who got engaged after only a few weeks of dating, first met following his split from Cazzie David.

"Timing, I feel like, is everything and we both were in a similar situation at the same time," Pete said, referencing his breakup from Cazzie and Ariana's split from Mac Miller. Pete added that he and Ariana's breakups happened "pretty much at the same time." As for exactly how he and Ariana met, the 24-year-old comedian gave all the credit to Ariana's manager, Scooter Braun. "Booking my career and wife!" Pete joked. "No, he's was like ya know...I was down in the dumps and he came and visited me at SNL."

No subject was off the limits for the interview as Pete also discussed how his borderline personality disorder, which he was diagnosed with last year, affects his relationship with Ari. "I just think some people are meant to be together and some people aren't, even if they are good people or not," he admitted. "Some people just aren't good in relationships together. And I just think she's- we're supposed to be together."

While Pete now thinks they're meant to be, he was hesitant to accept the fact that Ariana could be interested in him at one point. "Before we started dating, I literally like went through a list, I scrolled through a list of really hot guys on the internet and I was like, 'Wait a minute, are you sure?'" Pete said. "Like here's all of One Direction, I was like you sure? I was like this guy? Alright. OK cool."

Pete's insecurities were only made worse by internet trolls who even sent him a death threat after news of his relationship with Ariana. “I got a death threat,” he said. “Someone wanted to shoot me in the face because she’s so hot. You know how insane that is? It’s like, ‘Am I that ugly that people wanna shoot me in the face?’ They’re like, ‘F**k that guy.’”
